Hazeldene House – Pembury, Tunbridge Wells, Kent

Planning permission has been granted to demolish the existing building and replace it with a new specifically designed care home. Construction commenced in the summer of 2011 and completed in September 2013.

The key feature of the new home is that residents will be accommodated in Care Suites with their own front door. The suites include personal day space where residents can socialise in privacy with family and friends. However there will also be the same communal lounge space and dining areas as in a traditional care home so that residents can chose to spend time in a group setting for their social or care needs. Twenty four hour personal care and support will be provided thus offering a home for life and the service can be increased and decreased based on individual needs.
